Well, this is my long-awaited return! I'm just kidding, I'm not so conceited as to think that you all wait around for these; although, I'm always appreciative of, and love the few of you who continually read my nonsense. Now, I need to apologize for my half-assed picture taking this morning, I had an idea and I ran with it. I should perhaps have slapped some makeup on first, or maybe some shoes (after looking at it though, I'm liking the whole Paul McCartney Abbey Road feel of it).
I find it a little depressing that it's still August and I'm already writing about sweaters, but the reality is that this summer has been quite the disappointment weather wise! So, over the past couple months I've acquired a few new favourites. The one on the left is the newest, I bought it yesterday after my shift. I had been eyeing it for a couple weeks, and I thought it was about time to upgrade from my burgundy cardigan (that has slowly become over-worn). However, I couldn't quite let go of my rich reds because as soon as the wine red knit (middle picture) hit the floor, I bought it. The last picture is a sweater I bought when I first started working at RW. It's an XL men's, and it's one of the comfiest things I own. Unfortunately, I often find myself freezing in 20 degree weather so these new pieces have really come in handy; especially considering these brisk summer nights. Now, if you're anything like me and find it difficult to get out of the oh-so-wonderful pullover hoodies, I do suggest you give these a try. They offer the same amount of comfort and add a little style. A very good transition I would say!
If you haven't noticed by now, I'm a little obsessed with over-sized tops. It may have become my safety blanket after the lovely Freshman 15 came my way, but hey, I think I make it work, so I'm not too upset with the change of style. I guess there's no real point to this post, besides maybe opening up your eyes to how sweet the Reitman's divisions can be. Little piece of advice, keep your mind open to new stores and new styles that you may not have considered before, you'll often surprise yourself when venturing out of your usual.
P.S These pants rock my world, they're so comfortable and the new print had me so excited. I saw tonnes of women buying the Prada Pant, and was never too fond of them because I found them unflattering. Just goes to show that you sometimes need to try stuff on before you rule them out.
Until next time,
Tacha xo
