For the first time since I was 6 years old, I attended a concert; an Arctic Monkeys concert at the Molson Canadian Amphitheater, to be exact. It was by far one of the best things I've ever done. My throat hurts from singing too loudly, my feet are sore from standing and dancing, and my ears rang all night; but, wow. The show actually blew my mind and Alex Turner is now my babe, I've decided. His voice is magic and his dance moves are entrancing. To quote Hannah (my amazing concert-experienced soon-to-be roommate), he's like a "deranged, awkward Mick Jagger", and I thought that was perfect. He had an aura about him that was just so fantastic; the suave moves, the slick hair touch-ups, and the dazzling hip trusts won over my heart.
This is the outfit I wore to this earth shattering concert. It's nothing too special, and the skirt isn't really Rock n' Roll but, it worked. Honestly, I would have worn my black high-waisted shorts but, they're not comfortable and are terrible for sitting which wouldn't have worked for the train. I wore my geisha shoes in case I had to look over people due to my chronic shortness; but thankfully, the seats we ended up with were legendary.
Just a little P.S. I don't get this whole "Post-Concert Depression" thing. Like yeah, I definitely wish I could relieve that whole night but I am just so happy and grateful that I got to go that i'm still in shock and amazement. I'll re-watch the videos for weeks, but nothing could make me depressed about that concert. Wow.
As always, thanks for reading, you guys rock.
Laters,
Tacha xo
